Are there any rules for the users of FindersCrowd?
Yes, there are some rules. Some of these are found in our Terms and Conditions (located at the bottom of each page), and some are displayed when using the service, including the fact that you can only register as a Finder with one email address. Thus, the same physical person may not be registered as several different Finders with different e-mail addresses. Another general rule is that if several Finders are referring the same person (email address), the Finder who owns the referral is the Finder who first receives confirmation that the person is interested via the FindersCrowd system.

What does it mean to get a higher rating as a Finder?
Your rating, among other things, determines how many referrals you may submit per assignment. As a new Finder, before you have received a rating, the number of referrals is limited to a maximum of 3 per assignment. To increase your rating, it´s important that the referrals and recommendations you submit are high quality. High quality does not mean that your referral will be what is ultimately chosen by the client, it´s how well your referral matches the description of the assignment that is important. Rating is automatically calculated based on relevance, quality and feedback from the clients.

Can I submit any number of referrals?
Initially, you only have 3 possible referrals per assignment to submit. Therefore, before you decide to recommend someone you know, it may be smart to check with that person first, to make sure he or she is interested. The higher the rating you receive, the more referrals per assignment is allowed.

How do I view the status of my referrals?
When you log in to your page, you can view an overview of all the assignments you have submitted referrals to and their status. You can easily follow what happens to your referrals by clicking on details.

Why do I have to provide information about myself?
On your profile page, you complete all the necessary information to be able to receive payment for the referrals you have submitted that resulted in an assignment being resolved.

How do I find out when a new assignment has been published?
It's up to you to decide how often you want to be notified when a new assignment is published. You can choose from several options. The default setting is to notify you immediately when it happens. If you have downloaded our app, new assignments will appear inside the app. If you allow push notifications, they will be visible instantly.

As a Finder, do I pay any fees?
No, it's completely free. It's up to you which assignments you want to submit referrals to and how often you want to engage. By being a Finder, we provide you with the opportunity to access and view all published assignments.
